Women's Volleyball Tabbed Sixth In NEWMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

WESTWOOD, Mass. - The Emerson women's volleyball team was tabbed to finish in the sixth slot in the 2022 NEWMAC Women's Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll following a trip to the NEWMAC Tournament in 2021.

Emerson returns junior libero, Caroline Davis, the 2021 NEWMAC Women's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Year and sophomore Amelia Combs, who was a 2021 Second Team All-Conference selection as the Purple & Gold get set to begin their 2022 campaign. Alongside Davis and Combs, the Lions bring back a strong core with four new additions to the roster as they look to return to the NEWMAC playoffs after a first-round exit in 2021.

In 2021, Emerson finished with an overall record of 17-8 and went 6-4 in NEWMAC play.
