Finishing out a postseason run which saw the Emerson Women's Volleyball Team come back from two 2-0 deficits in previous rounds, the Lions competed in their first ever New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference Volleyball Championship Game, falling to the No. 1 ranked Babson Beavers 3-0. The Lions defeated the MIT Engineers in the first round 3-2 after falling behind 2-0, and accomplished the same feat against the Wellesley Blue just two days later to earn their first berth in a NEWMAC Championship game.
