    ORLANDO, Fl. - In a pair of midweek matches down in Orlando, the Emerson women’s tennis team fell in its pair of games. The Lions started off the day with an 8-1 setback to North Central (Ill.) and capped off the day shouldering an 8-1 loss to Trine on Wednesday.

    The Emerson Women’s Tennis Team has been ranked No. 7 in the New England Women’s And Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Preseason Coaches’ Poll for 2020.  The Lions finished the 2019-2020 season with a 10-9 overall record and a 2-6 record in conference.

    The Emerson Women’s Tennis Team split a doubleheader on Saturday against the Curry College Colonels and Nichols Bison, defeating the Colonels 9-0 and falling 9-0 to the Bison.
  • Women’s Tennis Drops First Match In Fall Against Worcester State

    The Emerson Lions’ Women’s Tennis Team took on the Worcester State Lancers at St. John’s Prep on Friday afternoon.  The Lions fell in a hard fought match 6-3 overall.  Emerson dropped to 2-1 on the season while Worcester State improves to 7-4 overall.

    The Emerson Women’s Tennis Team traveled to take on the Southern Maine Huskies on Sunday afternoon, taking home the victory by sweeping all six singles matches and winning two of the three doubles matches.
