Bruce: two goals, one assist

Yoshiko Slater: one goal

Katie Wojcik: one goal

GOALIE: Kayli Daigneault (L, 0-1): five goals allowed on 17 shots with 12 stops through 90 minutes

18': Emerson got help from a ball that rebounded off Daigneault's hands to nab the 1-0 lead. After Bruce took a free kick from within the box, Daigneault caught the initial save, but had the ball slip from her hands as she fell. With the ball free, Slater slipped the ball within the left post.

41': The defense held strong and did not allow Plymouth State to a shot, which allowed Emerson to tack on an insurance goal with four minutes left in the half. Bruce found herself free in the box and booted the ball over the head of Daigneault as Emerson now led 2-0 going into the break.

54': Out of the break, Emerson continued to put on the defensive pressure and did not allow Plymouth State a shot until nearly nine minutes in. With bodies in front of the net, Bellmore was able to sneak in the Panthers's first goal past the dive of Salti and cut the lead down to 2-1.

57': Three minutes later, Emerson gave themselves the three-goal cushion. After the Lions drew a foul, a free kick by Wocjik soared over the head of Daigneault and found the back of the net as the hosts bumped their lead up to 3-1.

71': Junior Gina Lukoskie connected with Bruce, who got herself open in the middle and beat Daigneault as the fourth Emerson goal made its way into the upper left corner.

79': With 11 minutes remaining in regulation, MacQuarrie sealed the game with a goal from within the right lower and landed into the lower left corner to give Emerson the 5-1 victory.
