Women’s Lacrosse Ranked No. 10 In Preseason Poll

The Emerson Women's Lacrosse Team has been ranked No. 10 in the New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll for 2020.  Emerson finished the 2019 season with an 0-11 record, going 0-8 in conference. 

Springfield heads the top of the poll as reigning champions.  The Pride defeated the team following them in the poll in the championship game, Babson.   MIT closes out the top three.  Wheaton, Coast Guard, and Smith follow MIT in the four five and six spots.  Wellesley and Mount Holyoke are seventh and eighth, with Clark and Emerson closing out the poll at nine and ten.

Emerson will open up their season on March 2nd against John Carroll in Clearwater, Fla. Emerson returns home to open up their home schedule with a pair of against Northern Vermont Lyndon on March 7th and Rhode Island College on March 9th.  The games start at 1:00pm and 6:00pm respectively.
