The Lead: A team-high 16 points from Sophomore Annika Herbert wasn't enough as Emmanuel Graduate Student Jamad Fiin drilled the game winning three-pointer with under two minutes remaining to push the Saints past Emerson 65-62.

HOW IT HAPPENED `
- The Lions owned the first half as Sophomore Ava Salti led the Lions with 9 first quarter points on 3-5 shooting from behind the three-point line. After closing the first quarter out with a two-point lead, Emerson opened the second quarter with a 7-0 run in the first 1:19 to extend their lead to 23-14. Freshman Devin Hill led all scorers in the second quarter pouring in 8 of her 14 points.
- Emmanuel closed to within five, but another Emerson run, this one of 6-0, boosted the Lions advantage to 33-22. The Saints closed the gap to seven by halftime to trail 39-32.
- Emmanuel came out strong in the second half, erasing a seven-point halftime deficit thanks to a 7-0 run to tie the game at 39-39. The Saints led by as many as four in the quarter, but a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Lions sophomore Annika Hebert set up an exciting fourth quarter with the Saints leading 51-50
- Emmanuel charged to their largest lead to open the fourth quarter with a 10-0 run giving the Saints a 61-50 lead with 7:07 to go.
- The Lions were facing their largest deficit of the night down 11 points with 7:07 reaming in the game. The Lions were quick to respond with an 11-1 run to tie the score 62-62 with two minutes remaining.
- Tied at 62-62 with under two minutes remaining, Emmanuel's Graduate Student Jamad Fiin drained a three pointer, which would ultimately be the difference as the Saints defense held on for a 65-62 victory.
