  • Two frees throw and layup put four more points for the Lions to wrap the opening frame down 18-10.

SECOND QUARTER

  • Emerson kept up with Endicott and made some key stops, which allowed Emerson to stay within seven going into the half with the score at 34-27.

THIRD QUARTER

  • Starting at 8:28 up until 7:10, sophomore Olivia Deslauriers converted three consecutive baskets to get Emerson back within a trio at 39-36. Just under a minute later at 6:20, Hill dropped in her next three shots as the Lions found themselves down one at 43-42.
  • Dempsey put up a jumper at 3:14 to give Endicott the three-point edge back only to see Deslauriers connect on a deep three to knot the game at 45-all.
  • Endicott continued to hold a slight lead over Emerson as the Lions went to the charity stripe to end the third down one at 48-47.

  • After Gibbons nailed a shot from downtown to keep Emerson within three at 61-58, Hill went a perfect two-for-two on the line to keep the deficit at three with 1:46 to go.
