HOW IT HAPPENED
62': After their previous four shots were turned away, Emerson finally found the back of the net 17 minutes into the second half. Berville sent a pass across the box to find an open Chuaqui, who beat Nasr and sent the goal into the lower right for the 1-0 lead.
-Wentworth gave themselves two opportunities through the remainder of the second with two more shots, but had both turned away by Mueller to help secure the shutout win.
- Emerson comes back home on Saturday, September 17th for their first NEWMAC clash of 2022 against Springfield at 1:00 p.m.
