In 2016, the Emerson Men's Soccer team defeated NEWMAC opponent U.S. Coast Guard Academy Bears 1-0 behind a goal from Max DeLuca. DeLuca scored in the 31st minute of the first half, and the Lions held on behind a great goalkeeping day from Lucas Fischer to preserve the shutout for Emerson.  Take a look at the recap and photos from the day here.
