Former Baseball Standout, Jack Fox Inks Deal with Savanah Bananas

Jack Fox is now a Banana. The 2020 graduate went on to do a graduate year a Lander University where he posted a 2.77 ERA over 48 innings. He also struck out 44 batters and only walked 22. The Emerson all-time strike out leader, also struck out 87 batters in two seasons in the New England based Future’s baseball league between Westfield and Brockton.

Since his time at Lander, Fox has been a member of the Kane County Cougars in the American Association. In two seasons with the Cougars, Fox has pitched 170 innings, has a 3.65 ERA and has 124 strike outs. This past winter Jack signed with the Melbourne Aces in the Australian baseball league. So far Down Under, he’s pitched 14 innings and has 11 strikeouts.

The Savannah Bananas are an exhibition professional baseball team. That plays by their own rules, called Banana ball.
