    DANVERS, Mass. - Senior Joe Paladino (Bedminster, N.J.) tallied an inside the park homer followed by a 2-for-4 day by freshman Matt Nachamie (Merrick, N.Y.), but the Emerson baseball team slipped to Framingham State, 13-4, to start off its home stand on Tuesday afternoon.

    AUBURNDALE, FL. - Sophomore Quinton Copeland (Houston, Tex.) batted four-for-five at the plate followed by four more Lions belting two hits apiece as the Emerson baseball team picked up a comeback 6-4 win over St. Vincent on Tuesday morning.

    WINTER HAVEN, Fl. - Sophomore Quinton Copeland (Houston, Tex.) registered a 3-for-4 day at the plate, but it was not enough for the Emerson baseball team as the Lions dropped a 13-5 Monday afternoon matchup with Neumann down in Winter Haven.

    MALDEN, Mass. - A 4-for-4 day at the plate for freshman Thai Morgan (Waldwick, N.J.) followed by a solo bomb from freshman Matt Nachamie (Merrick, N.Y.) and the deciding three-run blast by sophomore Quinton Copeland (Houston, Tex.) rocketed the Emerson baseball team to a 10-8 victory over Rivier, its first of 2020, on Sunday afternoon.

    DANVERS, Mass. - Senior Jack Fox (Los Angeles, Calif.) was lights out through six with 10 strikeouts and junior Andre Padovani (Lynnfield, Mass.) drove in the lone run for the Emerson baseball team with an RBI single, but Mass.-Dartmouth exploded for a nine-run eighth to push past the Lions, 12-1, in both teams’ season openers on Saturday afternoon.

  • Baseball Ranked No. 8 In Preseason Coaches’ Poll

    The Emerson Baseball Team has been ranked No. 8 in the New England Women’s And Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Preseason Coaches’ Poll for 2020. The Lions finished the 2019 season with a 7-27 record and a 2-15 record in conference. Both victories in conference came over Clark University, marking the first time that Emerson has swept a conference opponent.
