ATLANTA, Ga. - On Tuesday, January 17th, Small College Basketball released its first watchlist for the Top 100 Bevo Francis Award for the 2022-23 campaign. The first list features 100 players from Division II, Division III, NAIA, USCAA, and NCCAA men's basketball. Emerson men's basketball graduate center, Jarred Houston, was selected to the Top 100 watchlist and is the lone NEWMAC student-athlete represented on the list.

WESTWOOD, Mass. - At the inception of the NEWMAC in 1998, the conference included 10 founding members- Babson College, Clark University, U.S Coast Guard Academy, MIT, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Springfield College, Wellesley College, Wheaton College, and WPI. It wasn't until 15 years later that the NEWMAC would expand beyond its founding 10 members, as Emerson College became the 11th core member of the conference on July 1, 2013.
