Women's Soccer Notches First NEWMAC Win At Mount Holyoke BOSTON, Mass. - Both freshman Grace Cosgrove (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) and sophomore Amanda Benavente (Boca Raton, Fla.) tallied goals for the Emerson women’s soccer team to put the Lions back in the win column with a 2-1 win over Mount Holyoke, which also counted as its first NEWMAC win of 2018 on Saturday afternoon. August 31, 2018 Frost Lifts Women's Soccer Past Emmanuel (Mass.) In Overtime With three minutes remaining in overtime, it was senior Jess Frost’s (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.) 97th minute net that sent the Emerson women’s soccer team home with a season opening 2-1 victory over Emmanuel (Mass.) on Friday night in non-conference women’s soccer play. The win also counted as the first season opening win for Emerson since 2016.
