Men’s Tennis Upended In Final Florida Match

The Emerson Men's Tennis team fell to the SUNY Oneonta Red Dragons in their final match of their spring break trip to Florida on Wednesday.  Emerson opened up the match by taking two of the three doubles pairings, and winning the top two.  Bass Lin and Dan Okin defeated Marco Ammirati and Nick Fox 8-2.  Maximo Lawlor and Brock Higley defeated Dalton Capobianco and Ben Cohen 8-4.

In the singles matches, Lin and Lawlor were the two Lions who were victorious.  Winning the top pairing, Bass Lin defeated Marco Ammirati 6-1, 6-4.  Maximo Lawlor defeated Nick Fox in the second pairing 6-1, 6-0.  Oneonta swept the final four singles pairings, taking a 5-4 victory over the Lions.

This was the last match for Emerson in Florida, who will next be in action on Saturday, March 16th when they welcome UMASS Boston to St. John's Prep.
