The Nor'easters (6-6) put their offensive efficiency on display, with the production surpassing the previous program high -- a 24-goal effort against Regis College in 2010.
Both Alex Zadworny and Garett Bozek turned in seven points on the night, combining for nine goals. Tom Luttrell, Mitch Mullin, Collin Morrow, and Alex York all scored twice for UNE, which aimed 30 shots on-target.
Adam Race collected a team-best five ground balls and game-high four caused turnovers for the hosts, and starting goalkeeper Sam MacKenzie denied three shots in just under 36 minutes of work to earn the decision.
For the Lions (5-6), Tim Doyle tallied two goals and Stevie Powers had a pair of assists. Austin DiPietro went 22-of-33 in face-offs and picked up 11 ground balls, and Bailey Kennedy made four saves.
Mullin notched two of the initial three goals to help the Nor'easters establish a 5-0 cushion in the 1st period, which ended with an 8-2 spread. It was 15-4 at the midway break, and 21-5 after three quarters.
UNE is headed for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) match with Salve Regina University on Saturday (1 p.m.).
